2020 saw the introduction of the LASERTRON Battle Royale Squad Tournaments and witnessed the rise of some incredible squads in both the Adult (18+) and Youth (17U) categories.

In the Adult Squads’ category, there were 5 squads who took home winnings in the form of cash and medals. Ladies Do It Better took 1st place for the year with 2 gold and 1 bronze medals and took home $1,200 in winnings. Taking 2nd place for the year, KUSHMAFIA won 4 separate events earning $1,100 and 4 medals, 1 gold and 3 bronze. Whats a Quad secured 3rd place with 3 silver medals and $900. BIAS placed 4th overall with $500 in winnings and 1 gold medal. And, in 5th place, Butterflyyy earned $300 in winnings and 1 silver medal.

For the Youth Squads’ category, there were also 5 squads who secured winnings in the form of points and medals. Dog wahter took first place 3 times and ended the year with 1,500 points in winnings (just for reference, that would be the equivalent of $1,500 in the Adult tournament). SOS won 4 events winning 1,400 points and 4 medals: 1 gold, 3 silver. yeah buddy 3, Gucci, and hansel and gretel all ended the year each with 200 points and 1 bronze medal.

To all the squads and squad captains that made this past year’s tournament a success, we congratulate you all and wish you the best for 2021!

(For 2021, it’s anticipated that adult prize money will be in excess of $10,000!)
